GetaMail.net will authenticate with you (either by IP address or SMTP Authentication) and allow you to send directly through our SMTP servers.

The benefit is that you can keep using your software, but gain all the advantages of using our SMTP servers. We work extremely hard to stay off blacklisting websites and also can manage large loads. It's likely that if you're using your local ISP or a webhosting server that they will do little to prevent you from being blacklisted and will often ban you from their system for using "excessive resources".

Given that our Direct SMTP customers have the ability to send emails without approval through our system, we have monitoring scripts in place that will detect for spam. It is vitally important that our Direct SMTP customers still be CAN-SPAM compliant and send emails that are generally acceptable to recipients. As part of the signup process for Direct SMTP, we will normally discuss the types of emails you said out and ask to see some sample emails so that we can check for compliancy (for example, an unsubscribe link, physical address and content verification).
